About Matt and The Foundation
Matt Haverkamp was a Golf Manor police officer and the founder of the department's K9 unit and bicycle patrol. Sadly, Matt lost his life in an auto accident on July 15, 2005. He will forever be remembered by the many people he touched in his short time with us.

As a way to keep Matt's memory alive and to celebrate his life, his friends and family formed The Matt Haverkamp Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that raises money to benefit causes that were important to Matt.

The Foundation is proud to have purchased a total of 20 K9s for local police departments over the years including Anderson Township, Blue Ash, Cheviot, City of Cincinnati (5), Clermont County, Delhi, Goshen, Green Township, Hamilton County (2), Loveland, Lynchburg, Madeira, Mason, Norwood, and Highland Heights, KY! The Foundation has also assisted New Richmond to start up a new K9 unit and helped several other police departments by purchasing heat sensors, training equipment, and bulletproof vests. Our goal for 2014 is to aid three departments that have requested assistance and we hope you will help us meet their needs!

Please show your support for The Foundation and help us to continue our efforts to keep our streets safe as we work towards helping and supporting those who protect us.
