Highland Heights Police K-9 To Receive Vest

Lt. Amber Conrad’s partner, Tiba, has been with the department since June of 2013. She will receive a bullet and stab proof vest Saturday, April 26th. This is the first vest donated to the Police Department. “It’s a Pet Affair” will take place at 201 Green Devil Lane in Dayton, Kentucky. There will be many animal vendors, demonstrations and family friendly fun from 11am to 4pm to include a parade, pet costumes, mascot mingle, silent auction, rescue groups, food, etc.. The Police K-9 demonstrations are starting at 1pm with presentation of the vest to follow. Vested Interest in K-9s mission is to outfit all police and military dogs with these vests and we are pleased to be one of the recipients. Please join us to witness our acceptance.
