DESCRIPTION:Tax bills will be mailed on or before October 1st to the property owner. If payments are made through an escrow account\, the bill will need to be forwarded to the escrow company. If applicable\, waste and code enforcement liens will be included on the bill. \nTax payments are due no later than October 31st and can be paid by check\, cash\, or credit card. Credit card payments are accepted on-line and there is a fee assessed for credit card payments. On November 1st\, a penalty of 10% will be assessed and interest of 1% per month will accrue until the bill is paid. \nHomestead Exemption: People age 65 or older; who own\, maintain\, and reside at a property as of January 1\, 2024\, may apply for the Homestead exemption at the Campbell County PVA office\, 1098 Monmouth Street\, Room 329. Once the homestead exemption is applied to the property\, it remains until the property is sold.
