City Taxes

Taxes may be paid online using a credit card. It will take approximately five (5) business days before your bill shows online as paid. If you have questions, please call 859-441-8575 for assistance.

Once City Council approves the ordinance setting the year’s tax rate as well as penalty and interest for delinquent taxes, property owners are sent a property tax bill; all of this occurs on or before October 1st. Included on the tax bill is the waste collection charge for waste and recycling removal. Taxes and waste collection charges are due on or before October 31st; taxes are considered delinquent on November 1st.
