Re: Gas Grill Regulations
Dear Resident,
This letter in to inform you of the regulation pertaining to gas/electric grills. N.F.P.A 1 2012 Edition reads as follows:
10.11.6.1 For other than one and two family dwellings, no hibachi, grill or other similar devices used for cooking, heating, or any other purpose shall be used or kindled on any balcony, under any overhanging portion, or within 10 feet(3 m) of any structure.
We have been in contact with the State Fire Marshall’s office on October 28, 2014 and they are also in agreement with this N.F.P.A. regulation.
We have been asked that the fire department enforce this regulation as written. Within your complex, we ask that grills be removed from any balcony or patio to comply with the NFPA 1 Section 10.11.7.

Central Campbell County Fire
